The PEI Bantam Major Bantam AAA Season
is set to begin another exciting season.
All
four Bantam AAA teams will be playing on opening night Oct 25th.
Again this year PEI Major Bantam will interlock
games with New Brunswick.
PEI will travel to NB on November 26th
and 27th and New Brunswick will come to PEI on
Nov 5th and 6th and Dec
17th and 18th.
Two year defending League champions the
Prince County Warriors are returning with
a
new coach. Cleve McNeill will look to the leadership of his three returning
players
to work together on and off the ice in
building a strong and competitive team.
Eastern Express will also have a new
coach. Will Zafiris is looking for his forwards
to provide energy and speed and for defense
to provide a solid mix of defense prowess
and puck moving ability.
Eastern Express host the Prince County
Warriors on the 25th in Montague at 7:10pm
Last year's league runners up the Mid
Isle Matrix are heading into a big season with high
Expectations. The coaching staff led by
coach Cory Parsons expects his team to work hard.
They have a solid group of veteran
leadership and a very capable rookie group that are
looking to step right in and contribute.
Midisle will be hosting Central Attack
in their opening game on the 25th in Kensington at
7:20pm.
Central Attack head Coach Barry Thompson
plans for his team to be competitive in the
league with a focus on consistency and
hard work ethic. The coaching staff is looking for
leadership and depth from their four returning
players.
This year Bantam Atlantics Challenge Cup
will be held in PEI and hosted by the
Mid Isle Matrix April 6th to
9th ,2016 at the APM in Cornwall. |
